About BamBam 3D
Welcome to BamBam 3D — a small, UK-based business creating high-quality 3D printed display figures, all made to order in East Sussex.
This isn’t just a business. It’s something much more personal.
BamBam 3D is named after my brother, Paul “BamBam” McMahon. Before I ever owned a 3D printer, he was the one sending me ideas, videos, and designs — from bold pop-culture pieces to darker, more unique styles. That spark is what started everything.
In May 2025, Paul passed away suddenly at just 37. Renaming the business to BamBam 3D was my way of carrying that passion forward and keeping a part of him alive through something creative.
Today, I run BamBam 3D alongside a full-time job and family life, printing every piece from home with care and attention to detail.
What We Do
BamBam 3D focuses purely on 3D printed display figures, typically ranging from 12cm to 40cm.
All designs are created by talented artists, and I purchase the proper licences to produce physical copies — ensuring everything is made ethically and with full respect to the original creators.
Each figure is printed using high-quality PLA+, a durable and biodegradable material, ideal for detailed indoor display pieces.
Our Process
Every item is produced using 3D printing, which is a detailed, multi-step process involving printing, part assembly, and finishing.
Because of this, minor imperfections can occasionally occur, such as subtle layer lines, small surface marks, or parts requiring careful gluing. These are a natural part of the process and part of what makes each piece unique.
That said, every figure is checked before dispatch. If something doesn’t meet my standards — whether that’s a print issue, poor adhesion, or finish — it doesn’t get sent out.
Only pieces I’m happy to display myself leave the workshop.
